Being an Uncle

Who would have ever thought that having nieces and nephews would be so fun?! I have one niece named Nikki. She is 2 almost three, and she is a princess. I also have a nephew named Carter, shown in the picture, that is 15 months. Carter is just the cutest little boy ever. He is always so happy, and just will play with anyone. He is always smiling or giggling. Nikki is getting pretty smart and can basically get away with anything. Sometimes Nikki will play with me all day long, and other times, its like I am a bad guy. I am Carter's favorite, always. He loves me. We have great times together. Being an uncle is good.

Randomness

I was thinking the other day while I was looking at some family pictures, and I came across this particular picture. It just cracked me up. It just reminded me of many occurrences of totally random, pointless things that are just there to give you a little chuckle. These chairs, that were in a Mexico airport, weren't very comfortable, but what makes them so amazingly awesome, is the funniness. What would we do without these random funny objects? One thing is for sure, my life would be a lot more dull. So, thank you random funny things.

Homecoming!

Homecoming was last night, and it was a blast! I went with Mekell Craft, and I had a great time. I hope she did as well. For the day date we had a slip n slide and pizza. Then at night time, we took pictures, and then had dinner at Macaroni Grill. At dinner, this bozo of a waitress knocked over a water glass that went all over my date and I. It mainly got all over Mekell. Sorry Mekell. Then after dinner, we ski-daddled over to the school for the dance. The dance was in the new entrance area. They had a Chinese theme. The best part about the theme, was that they gave out free fortune cookies. After the dance, we went to the Tribe residence and ate yummy crapes. Then we went home. What a fun night! The End.

Epic Slip n' Slide!

On Saturday, for our homecoming day date, we created one of the most epic slip n' slides ever! We had it at Rock Canyon Park in Provo. The hill we used was huge and steep. We had a tarp that was 100 feet long, but the hill extended about 30 feet past the tarp into a mud pit. We would run and jump on the slip n slide and pick up so much speed that we would go crashing into the mud pit. Sometimes it kinda hurt, but boy was it fun. At one time during the day date, a mud fight broke out. Not a single persons face was clean. Everyone had a blast, and no one was seriously hurt. However everyone had a few scratches and bruises here and there, but it was sure worth it!

1, 2, 3... SUMO!!!

An epic battle went down in the student center, at lunch time, at Pleasant Grove High School. Dillon Hutchins challenged me to a sumo duel. He thought that he would easily walk away with the crown, but oh was he mistaken! I caught him off guard when right at first I jump-kicked him in the stomach. He won the first round, and he thought he had it in the bag. However, I came roaring back to win the next two. He never saw what hit him.

BYU Dominates

BYU played Tulane on Saturday at the Super Dome in New Orleans. BYU was ranked #9 in the nation going into the game, thanks to their upset of #3 Oklahoma the week before. Tulane was a big underdog going into the game, and it showed. BYU got off to a slow start, but once they started rolling, there was nothing the Tulane could do to stop them. Everything was working for BYU. They caused four Tulane turnovers, returning one for a touchdown. Whether it was through the air or on the ground, everything was working for BYU. The final score, 54-3, sums up how the whole game went. Tulane tried using three different quarterbacks, but could never get anything going. With the impressive win, BYU jumped up to #7 in the new poles. This season looks promising for the Cougars. As for the Green Wave... well that's a different story
